BUSAN · 2-3 DAYS
Korea's second city,
facing the sea.
Busan is spread along a long coast. Group each day by area instead of crossing the city repeatedly: old port, Yeongdo and Gwangalli/Haeundae form three natural routes.
BASE
Where to stay
Seomyeon is the easiest transport hub; Gwangalli has evening views and a local beach feel; Haeundae suits resort hotels. Pick one base—changing hotels rarely saves time.

Getting around
Metro lines cover the main centers, but coastal and hillside sights often need a bus or taxi. Use T-money and check routes in Naver Map. From Seoul, KTX reaches Busan Station in about 2.5 hours.
3 DAYS
Suggested itinerary
- Day 1: Jagalchi, Nampo, Bosu Book Street and sunset from Yeongdo.
- Day 2: Gamcheon early, then Songdo or a relaxed afternoon around Gwangalli.
- Day 3: Haeundae, Dongbaekseom and Cheongsapo; reserve the beach train if it matters to you.
GOOD TO KNOW
Distances are real
Nampo to Haeundae can take an hour. Keep attractions on the same side of the city each day and leave extra time on weekends or in beach season.
FOOD
Order with confidence
Try dwaeji-gukbap, milmyeon and fresh seafood, but check prices before ordering at fish markets. Many restaurants specialize in one dish, which makes menus easier than they first appear.
